- After 28 years of service in Europe, the last F-4s are returning to the United States. Known as the "Wild Weasels", the F-4G Phantom IIs from the 81st Fighter Squadron here arrived at the new duty station: Nellis AFB, Nevada. The 81st served in the Persian Gulf and remained to support Operations Desert Calm, Southern Watch and Provide Comfort.
